Creative Portraiture

Skill Level: Intermediate, Advanced

Learn to take compelling portraits and to be creative with your photographs. This course will teach you to stand out as a creative portrait photographer. You will learn how to work with professional lighting equipment indoors and outdoors, how to best select models for your shoot, how to make your subjects comfortable, and how to create a fantasy or a story with your photos. This course is appropriate for students who understand basic camera functions and want to learn how to use lights to model a subject and to create content in their images.

About the Instructor:  Christine Szeredy is an international acclaimed photographer. Her images have been highlighted in American Photography, ProFoto, Select Magazine, Picture Perfect, Alcove Books, MAC-on-Campus, Photo Vogue Italy. She holds a Masters in Fine Art form the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and has taught private workshops in her studio at the Art Institute in Charlotte. Today, based in Colorado, she divides her time between commercial and fine art photography, teaching, and alternative processes.
