Concept: Learn the basics of the positive wet-plate collodion process in this intensive two-day workshop. Learn the history and chemistry behind the process, then work hands-on making tintypes in the darkroom in a small group environment. We’ll cover all of the basics of working on metal: mixing chemistry, coating and sensitizing the plate, development, drying, and varnishing.
