Objective:

Discover what Affinity offers photographers and how it compares with familiar image-editing tools. This fast-paced overview will help participants decide whether Affinity is worth exploring as part of their photographic workflow.

Course Description:

Curious about Affinity but don’t want to spend hours figuring out what it can do?

Join photo educator Eric Hagemann for a free, one-hour introduction to Affinity and its potential role in a modern photographic workflow.

Eric will provide a practical tour of the features most relevant to photographers, including RAW development, layers, masks, selections, adjustment layers, retouching, compositing, and preparing finished images for print or screen.

Along the way, he’ll compare Affinity’s tools with familiar Photoshop and photographic editing concepts, highlighting what’s different and what’s surprisingly familiar.

This is not a step-by-step editing class. It’s an opportunity to see the software in action, ask questions, and decide whether you’d like to explore it further through CPAC’s upcoming Affinity classes.
