Objective:

Build a practical foundation for editing photographs in Affinity. Learn the essential tools, concepts, and workflow needed to begin developing and refining your own images with confidence.

Course Description:

Affinity offers photographers a powerful environment for developing and editing photographs, but learning a new application can feel intimidating—even when you already understand photography and post-processing.

Join photo educator Eric Hagemann for this two-hour introductory class designed to help you get productive in Affinity quickly.

Rather than exploring every tool and menu, Eric will focus on the fundamental concepts and techniques photographers need to begin editing. You’ll learn your way around the workspace, understand the basic process of opening and developing an image, and explore the core building blocks of an Affinity workflow: layers, adjustment layers, masks, selections, and basic retouching.

For photographers familiar with Photoshop or other image editors, Eric will connect these concepts to tools and techniques you may already know.

The class will conclude with a complete image-editing demonstration, bringing the individual techniques together into a practical workflow you can apply to your own photographs.
