This beginning workshop in designed for DLSR camera users new to digital photography. The workshop will cover photography and camera operation basics, including camera operation, aperture, shutter speed, iso, metering, exposure, and focusing. An overview of digital software programs is provided to start the beginning photographer on a path that suits their needs, resources, and personal goals. Time is provided to answer individual questions.

- Simplifying and customizing your DSLR camera to your personal style and subjects
- Exposure made easy, metering and histograms explained
- Apertures, depth-of-field, and your lenses sweet spot
- Shutter speeds, blurred motion, stop motion and panning

- Overview of digital photography software, which software is right for you
