This class will continue the exploration of film developing and printing. On the film side, we will explore the practical Zone System and push and pull negative development. Also to be covered will be the active use of color filters during film exposure to achieve different effects on the black and white negative.
On the printing side we will learn basic split contrast printing as well as active contrast control with variable contrast papers. Refining of the ability to dodge and burn for final prints will be covered to a greater extent.
