ABOUT THE GROUP
Join the members of the Rocky Mountain Monochrome Salon and discover the world of monochrome photography. Each meeting features formal print sharing, discussions on photography and art, and mingling with other photography enthusiasts. This meeting is free and open to individuals interested in black and white photography.
The mission of the Rocky Mountain Monochrome Salon is to support fine art photographers across the Rocky Mountain region while educating the public about the history, processes and value of black and white (monochrome) photography today. The members of the Rocky Mountain Monochrome Salon use black and white photography to weave a vibrant tableau in shades of gray, showing that what makes us the same can also make us wonderfully different.
CPAC is a community-driven institution dedicated to fostering the understanding and appreciation of photography in all aspects and genres through promotion, exhibition, and education. Founded in Denver in 1963, the Center is the only not-for-profit organization in the Denver area that is solely dedicated to supporting contemporary photography and other lens-based media.
