This class is an introduction to B+W film photography. We will cover the basics of:
- Camera operation
- Light metering
- Film developing
- Proofing and printing on photographic paper
Also touched on with this class will be some of the basics of composition, and creating visual interest within the image as part of the process of creating the B+W photograph from start to finish. An overview of the different types of B+W photography, leaning more towards the classic fine art photography of the West Coast. This is a very good class as a refresher before getting back into the wet darkroom for those that find themselves on that path. Or, for that matter, anybody wanting to experience the magic of B+W film and print making in the wet (analog) darkroom.
