Black & White Darkroom: Introduction
Date | Lecture Fridays August 28, September 4, 11, 18 & 25 + either Mondays August 31, September 7, 14, & (Tuesday) 22 OR Wednesdays September 2, (Thursday) 10, 16 & 23.
To promote social distancing and limit the amount of people in the darkroom, students are asked to select either Monday or Wednesday lab time when you register. Fridays will be a lecture for both lab days. There will also be blocks of time for students to use the darkroom at CPAC outside of the class times. Please email or call CPAC if you have any questions.

This is an introductory black and white film and darkroom class for students who have never used film or worked in a darkroom. It includes the basics of camera operation, correct film exposure and developing, as well as an introduction to black and white printing in the darkroom.
Supplies needed for this workshop:
- Manual Camera (small or medium format)
- Black & White Film: 35mm, 645, 6×6, 6×7
- 3-ring binder
- Notebook and pen or pencil
- Work Apron (optional)
