This workshop explores how to create black and white photographs and prints that are equal to or better than those produced on traditional film and paper by using a digital workflow designed to optimize quality. Topics covered include conversion techniques using both Lightroom and Photoshop and digital toning methods that mimic traditional darkroom toning. The digital printing process and color management is covered in detail and you will have an opportunity to process and print your own images during the workshop in the CPAC printing lab. Students should provide their own laptops and DSLR cameras. If you do not have any of these items please let us know we have a few that can be provided. Printing paper is included in the workshop.
