TUTORING

CLASS OR WORKSHOP

There are different ways to interact with our digital lab, please carefully review all options below.

How to Rent

Hours | Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, and Saturday, 11:30 am – 3:30 pm

Orientation | Prior to your first rental of the digital lab at 1200 Lincoln Street, you must attend a free, 10-minute orientation, which will cover equipment use. The orientation will not teach you how to edit, scan, or print (for beginners see our educational offerings). You must complete an orientation in advance either the same day prior to use of digital lab space or by appointment (303-837-1341 or info@cpacphoto.org).

Renting After Orientation | Once you have completed the required orientation and gone through your first digital lab rental, you may schedule additional rentals by filling out the online Digital Lab Reservation Request form below.

Policies and Procedures | Renters must be at least 18 years or older. Digital lab rental appointments require at least 72 hour advance booking notice, as well as a $15 deposit (credited to total fee). Cancellations notices must be received at least 48 hours in advance of the confirmed rental session to receive a refund of the $15 deposit. Refunds are not available for cancellations made within 48 hours of the confirmed rental session. Rental sessions are only final after date confirmation from CPAC staff and deposit is paid.

MATERIALS

We’re pleased to offer free sample packs of Moab paper for use during your digital‑lab rental. Please note that we do not sell paper packs in the digital lab. Our standard roll‑paper option on the Canon PRO‑2100 printer is the Canon Pro Luster. If you prefer to bring your own paper, you must provide us with the paper type ahead of your rental date so we can install the correct profile for you. If you don’t bring your own paper, we recommend using our in‑house Canon papers. For smaller sizes your options include Canon Luster 8.5 × 11″ or the roll‑paper option.

Digital Lab Tutoring

CPAC is offering one-on-one tutoring sessions with Frank Varney, an accomplished photographer and instructor with 30 years of teaching experience. Individuals must pay a $25 deposit credited to tutoring fee. On-site classes and workshops are also available through CPAC. Browse our current education calendar.

COST | CPAC members: $195 per 3 hour session; Non-members: $240 per 3 hour session (any prints made during tutoring will incur the materials fee listed above)
