Students will experiment with different shutter speeds when photographing moving subjects. Whether freezing a subject mid-motion or intentionally creating a motion blur, both are opportunities for abstract photographs. Be ready to take pictures outside.

A camera with fully manual exposure is necessary, digital is preferred, tripod is highly recommended. Students should be familiar with manual exposure settings, but a thorough understanding is not necessary. Bring necessary cables and devices to upload photos from your camera to class computer for critique.
