Digital Silver Imaging will demonstrate their On-Site Image Preservation Service™ in their newly outfitted digitization van at CPAC. Image Archive Specialist, Scott Nidermaier, and Digital Silver Imaging owner Andrea Zocchi will be on hand to showcase the equipment. The van is equipped with a state-of-the-art image capture system, utilizing a high-resolution medium format camera and specialized flat field lenses. In seconds this system can digitize your film with drum scanner quality at a fraction of the drum scanner price. As a bonus to CPAC Members, Digital Silver imaging is offering to digitize a single 35mm transparency, or negative (color or b&w) FREE during the event. So, don’t forget to bring your film, mounted or unmounted, negatives or transparencies in strips or singles – all are fine. Andrea and Scott will be available to answer all your digitization and archiving questions whether you are scanning your work on a flatbed scanner or sending it to a service bureau.
