Skill Level  |  Beginning – need to have basic understanding of basic digital camera operations including apertures and shutter speeds

In this workshop, participants will gain a comprehensive technical understanding of how to produce high quality digital images from capture to ink-jet print.

Topics include: RAW vs. JPEG workflow, camera controls, software choices, and the basics of color management. Participants will have an opportunity to participate in a photowalk on the RMCAD campus, calibrate their monitors, and make an ink-jet print during this two day workshop taught on the campus of RMCAD. This class is taught from the perspective of RAW capture using an integrated workflow between Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Participants will provide their own laptops and DSLR cameras. Printing paper is provided.
