Discover the photograph within.  Many times, a photographer is not aware of the stronger image within the image they have captured. This class will refine and develop your eye as a photographer to cultivate the full potential that your images hold.  The instructor will guide the class through interactive discussions to find the best way(s) to develop the captured image.  Often the raw image needs to be cropped, and digitally edited before the more powerful image emerges.  The class will explore image compositions as it relates to your images, and through the development tools in Lightroom you will explore how to emphasis and shape your image to gain its full potential as photographic art.  Since some images are better as Black & White, B&W conversion will also be demonstrated to gain the best tonal range for your image.

Beginners and intermediate photographers will gain the most from this class.  Be prepared to share your images in a group evaluation.  Then based on the feedback, you will learn the art of Lightroom to develop your image.  Class demonstrations will show how to use some of the Lightroom tools.  Weekly assignments will be given and evaluated the following week.  The course requires digital images, either from a smartphone, camera or digitized film, Lightroom software and knowledge how to import images.

Prior to class, students should have Adobe Lightroom already installed.
