Objective:
Participants will learn how to use their DSLR/Mirrorless Camera outside of automatic mode to better control their photographic exposures.
Course Description:
All cameras fundamentally work the same. In a classroom setting, participants will learn the three fundamentals of exposure, as well as the onboard priority modes built into modern digital cameras. Tips, tricks, and real-world applications of when and how to use the different priority modes will be shared as well.
TOPICS COVERED
All students will gain knowledge in:
- AV (Aperture Priority) Mode – Depth of Field
- TV (Shutter Priority) Mode – Motion Blur
- M (Manual Mode) – The Exposure Triangle
- Drive Modes – Single Shot vs. Burst Shooting
- Focusing Modes – Single Shot vs. Continuous Autofocusing
- Raw vs. JPEG File Formats
