STEPHEN PODRASKY

Each quarter, we share a portfolio by one of CPAC’s many talented members. This time it’s Stephen Podrasky, a Denver-based artist whose eye-catching project, Urban Alleys, is on view at The Robert Anderson Gallery through December 31, 2019.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Urban Alleys

Growing up in the suburbs, alleys have a reputation for being uninviting and unsavory. As I wander up, down and through the alleys, I am fascinated with the ways we work to disguise their function. From traditional graffiti to beautiful murals, gas and electric meters, telecom connections and trash services, all hidden in plain sight. I now seek these out to discover how we choose to mask and cover them.
