This workshop is for the photographer who would like to start printing their own work using an ink-jet printer or make better prints with the printer they have. In this one and a half day workshop we move from a basic to an advanced understanding of all aspects of digital ink-jet printing including printing from Lightroom and Photoshop, setting up your printer for consistent results, correctly using paper profiles, and how to select printing paper that matches your photographic vision. This workshop is geared towards using your own printer. The first day of the workshop will provide you the skills to set up and use your own printer. The second half-day of the workshop (2 weeks later) gives you an opportunity to present prints you have made for a technical printing critique and to resolve any printing issues you may have encountered with the help of the instructor. This workshop is best for users of Epson and Canon ink-jet printers.
