This two-day workshop introduces the basic understanding of copyright as it applies to photographers and will detail the necessary skills to understand the connection between licensing and copyright. Additionally, students will learn how to protect their photographs through the practice of preparing images and walking through the registration process with the United States Copyright Office.

Paul Weinrauch is an architectural photographer based in Colorado. He is a current board member of ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) in Colorado. He photographs a wide range of commercial and editorial work. He has an accomplished career and his work has been featured in magazines and books, such as Boulder County Home and Garden, Mother Earth Living, Spin Magazine, 5280 and The Elements of Photography. He currently lives in the Denver area managing his company, Weinrauch Photography LLC, and teaches both photography and business. Visit his website at
