CPAC’s updated Digital Lab features two new Canon inkjet printers (PRO 1000 and PRO 2100) and instructions for how to use these machines will be reviewed in detail. Instructor Frank Varney will demonstrate printer settings for using Canon and Epson printers with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop software and Canon’s Professional Print & Layout software. Additional discussion will happen around which papers to select when considering aesthetics and exhibition quality prints. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to make up to 3, 11″ x 17″ prints. Students will also learn basic options for setting up an at-home digital printing lab.
