Objective:

This 8-week online workshop is an experiential, photographer-focused adaptation of Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way. Participants will be guided through weekly readings, in-class creative exercises, and between-session assignments that expand their approach to photography and creative exploration.

Course Description:

Designed for artists at any stage, the workshop blends discussion, writing, and image-making with weekly themes that invite deeper sensory engagement to help photographers work in new ways. This is not a technical class, but a creative reset and recalibration for those looking to grow, stretch, and move into the next phase of their practice. While the course is primarily online, optional in-person sessions may be offered for hands-on creative work at CPAC or at the instructor’s studio in Globeville.
