This is an introductory class for those who have always wanted to try large format photography but don’t want the expense of buying all the assorted equipment and supplies. We will provide the cameras and all the necessary equipment as well as film for you to get an introduction to what large format photography is truly like.
Friday is the introduction lecture, Saturday is spent in the mountains exposing film and Sunday is spent at the RMCAD darkroom developing and proofing the film from Saturday. Both 4×5 and 8×10 cameras will be available.
Required supplies for this program:
- Notebook and pen or pencil
- Saturday and Sunday – Lunch, or snacks or water
- A work apron (optional)
