Continuing on from “Introduction to Photoshop for Photographers: Part 2,” this two session workshop is appropriate for students who are familiar with the Photoshop workspace and flow, as well as basic image editing (cropping, color, brightness and contrast, simple retouching). Part 2 will introduce selection tools, brushes and masks, and more advanced image retouching which could require the use of transformations and multiple layers. This workshop is perfect for those who have explored the software a bit on their own, but still have much to learn. (Students do not necessarily need to have taken Part 1 in order to take Part 2).
Prior to class, students should have Adobe Photoshop already installed, and preferably have Adobe Bridge installed as well. Before the first session, the instructor will email the files that you will be working on in class.
Materials Needed:
- Laptop with Adobe Photoshop and Bridge installed
- Notebook and pen for notes
- Zoom account (free) for access to class
- Additional tablet or screen (optional -suggested for seeing instructor while working)
