Objective:
Students will learn the basics of large-format film photography, including how to affordably source large-format cameras, lenses and film. Learn how to process negatives and make affordable large-format prints on your own.
Course Description:
In-person at CPAC, this class is for photographers who understand the basics of photography (aperture, shutter speed and film speed) and want to move into large format without spending a fortune. Large format cameras will be on display in class to learn with. Students will learn how to load film into film holders, how to set up the camera, how mechanics of the camera aid in prescision, and the steps from focusing the image on the ground glass through to exposing the film.
