MEMBERS LIBRARY

ABOUT | CPAC offers our library as a benefit for members. With over 500 books, the library contains exhibition catalogs, artist books, reference manuals, vintage copies of Aperture magazine, and more. Read about the artwork of Alfred Steiglitz, Sharon Harper, and James Balog, study the history of War in Photography, or gain inspiration from a landscape photography book.

Members can browse the collection, search by author or subject, and check book availability through Librarika. This website allows us to upload books in our collection and track them once they’re checked out. Once you (the borrower) log in, view the collection by clicking “catalog items” under the “catalogs” tab.

Your membership with CPAC grants you access to Librarika. Email info@cpacphoto.org to have an account created.

CHECKOUT POLICY | CPAC members are allowed a two-week checkout period, with one 12-day renewal possible (unless requested by another borrower). Librarika will send borrowers a reminder email two days before your book is due. You will also get an overdue reminder one day after the deadline. Borrowers who fail to return books after the first 24 hours will be charge $0.50 a day until the book is returned to CPAC.

Our account through Librarika allows you to browse and checkout books ONLY from our library. We are unable to offer Interlibrary Loans (ILL) through the public library systems, nor to ship books to members.

If book is lost or damaged beyond repair, borrower will be fined fair market value of said book.

WHERE IS THE LIBRARY? | The bookshelves containing all items available for checkout are located on-site at our 1200 Lincoln Street location. You can find them in the floor to ceiling bookcase at the end of the offices, on the other side of the small gallery wall.

COST | Free for CPAC members. A Librarika login is required to browse books in the collection.
