Join us at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center for an afternoon of photography, conversation, and community at the CPAC + Not Another Film Lab + Denver Photo Swap.

Bring a few photographs you’re ready to share and trade with fellow photographers. The Print Swap is an informal opportunity to get your work off the screen and into someone else’s hands, discover photographs made by other members of the community, and connect with photographers from across the Denver area.

Whether you’re bringing darkroom prints, inkjet prints, alternative-process work, or something else entirely, the emphasis is on sharing work rather than presenting a polished portfolio.

Come with prints. Leave with photographs made by someone else.

How It Works

Bring 3–5 photographic prints you are willing to trade.

Your prints can all be the same image or different images, and they may be made using any photographic process.

Prints should be no larger than 8.5 × 11 inches.

Participants will have time to look through the work, talk with one another, and arrange trades throughout the afternoon.

There is no expectation that prints have equal monetary value. The swap is about exchanging work, discovering new photographers, and building community.

Please only bring prints you are comfortable giving away.

Who Can Participate?

Photographers of all experience levels are welcome.

You do not need to be a CPAC member or a professional photographer to participate. If you make photographs and would like to share your work with other photographers, you’re invited.

Please bring:

  • 3–5 photographic prints
  • Prints may be the same image or different images
