This workshop will provide further discussion into breaking into the commercial art market.
This 2-hour seminar will offer photographers an inside perspective from a pioneer collector on accessing the fine art marketplace. It also offers a sneak peek at the upcoming, 8-part workshop which will take a deeper dive into gaining gallery representation (Finding Gallery for your Work coming in January 2024). In this session, learn the questions collectors ask, and how this might impact your practice. We’ll discuss how to find the ‘right’ gallery for you and your work, the proper etiquette when approaching a gallery for representation (including what not to do), and creating marketing materials to circulate your name and work in the marketplace.
This seminar will be recorded and made available to registered participants only.
