There’s more to photography than solely composing shots in camera. Try the fun challenge of creating photographic images outside the lens by combining multiple photos together on the computer using Photoshop. In this online class, students will be introduced to some basic compositing techniques through layering, masking and blending. We will also discuss some compositional strategies when choosing which images to work with. This can help make the compositing process easier as well as result in a more engaging image. Prior to class, students should have Adobe Photoshop already installed, and preferably have Adobe Bridge installed as well. Before the first session, the instructor will email you files that we will be working on during this two session class.
Materials Needed:
- Laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed
- Some of own images to edit in Photoshop
- Notebook and pen for notes
- Zoom account (free) for access to class
