Introduction to advanced image enhancement

Whether you are continuing on from Part 1 of this series, or have worked with photoshop for a while, but have yet to explore or understand layer masks, this workshop is for you. Part 2 will introduce/review masking adjustment layers in order to make isolated edits to color and tone, but then we will also cover the selection tools and use these to create a single image from multiple photo exposures (HDR.) Students do not need to have taken Part 1 in order to take Part 2.

Prior to class, students should have Adobe Photoshop already installed, and preferably have Adobe Bridge installed as well. Before the first session, the instructor will email the files that you will be working on in class.

Materials Needed:

  • Computer with Adobe Photoshop and Bridge installed
  • Notebook and pen for notes
  • Zoom account (free) for access to class
  • Additional tablet or screen (optional -suggested for seeing instructor while working)

Please register as you normally would, and CPAC will update you with links to take your class or workshop as scheduled online. To participate in an online course, students will need access to a desktop, laptop, or tablet with an internet connection. If you have any questions about navigating our system, please email [email protected] for more information.
