Improving digital collage technique
Have you played around with combining multiple images in Photoshop and are ready to develop more skills for creating more seamless and easier composites? This more intensive class will cover strategies for choosing images, as well as how to set up your photograph before you capture it in camera, in order to make the process easier. In Photoshop we’ll cover tools and strategies to unify texture and lighting, how to create shadows, deal with distortions and difficult selections, retouching smooth gradients, how to organize a heavily layered image file, and how to handle really large file sizes. If you are already familiar with all the basic tools and strategies for compositing/collaging, and are looking to improve your technique and skills, then this class is for you. If this class sounds like what you want to do, but feel timid in your ability with digital collage, it is recommended that you take Part 3 of this series in conjunction with this course. Students do not need to have taken Parts 1-3 in order to take Part 4.
Instructor will email you files that we will be working on during the class.
