Over 15 years, LensCulture has built a global online audience of more than three million photography makers, lovers, and thinkers from 160 countries and are proud to offer career-changing opportunities through photography awards, exhibitions in leading cities, festival screenings, and books. They also have a online magazine, submission reviews, and free downloadable guides.

Laura Sackett is Creative Director and co-founder of LensCulture, one of the leading sites committed to discovering and promoting the best in the contemporary photography. She leads all aspects of design including strategy, brand, website, print, communications, screenings and exhibitions. Besides leading the creative direction for LensCulture, she also designs and co-curates LensCulture exhibitions and the online galleries. Laura is a frequent reviewer at portfolio reviews. She is a founding Board Member of PhotoAlliance, and earned an MFA in photography from the California College of the Arts. She currently lives in Berkeley, CA.


PhotoVox is a monthly program offered by the Colorado Photographic Arts Center to help you strengthen your artistic voice with the support of other photographers and artists in the Denver Metro community. Meetings are held monthly at either CPAC’s downtown gallery or virtually on Zoom, and feature discussions led by local arts and community leaders. Three sessions per year are dedicated to portfolio sharing.
