ABOUT | For July’s PhotoVox event join us online for a discussion with Mia Dalglish and Lisa Woodward, Co-Curators at Pictura Gallery in Bloomington, Indiana. Dalglish and Woodward have worked together for 13 years, producing a wide range of exhibitions and advising photographers through different phases of their careers. They have served as guest critics and portfolio reviewers for a wide range of international conferences, festivals, and competitions. Most recently, they juried CPAC’s 60th Annual Members’ Show featuring work by 50 CPAC members.

Dalglish and Woodward will share their insight on the curatorial process, including how they choose artists and projects for exhibitions, how successful collaborations happen, and the different aspects that go through a juror’s mind when judging work.

This is also a great opportunity for artists to learn more about how jurors define aesthetics and set criteria for calls for entry so they can stand out in the selection process.
