ABOUT | Realizing your artistic vision in print often depends on the paper you select. With dozens of choices how do you start the process and what is the best paper for your work? Digital Silver Imaging’s Andrea Zocchi will take the guesswork out of selecting a photo printing paper. Terminology and paper formulations will be explained, and the strengths and weaknesses of paper types will be explored.

  • Inkjet versus digital C prints
  • Photo based inkjet papers
  • Fine art inkjet papers
  • B&W silver gelatin papers
  • Archival & presentation issues

MEET OUR SPEAKER

Andrea Zocchi is a partner at Digital Silver Imaging and Director of Marketing and Promotions. Zocchi was an art director at F+W Media and the CEO of his own publishing company, Cantata Books. Andrea has over 30 years experience in photo and has directed and taught photo workshops in Italy for Massachusetts College of Art, SUNY Alfred, and the University of Colorado Denver.

ABOUT PHOTOVOX

PhotoVox is a monthly program offered by the Colorado Photographic Arts Center to help you strengthen your artistic voice with the support of other photographers and artists in the Denver Metro community. Meetings are held monthly at either CPAC’s downtown gallery or virtually on Zoom, and feature discussions led by local arts and community leaders. Three sessions per year are dedicated to portfolio sharing.
