Colorado Photographic Arts Center Response to Covid-19

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center will reopen to the public on Tuesday, June 30. To help prevent the spread of coronavirus and protect the health and safety of our staff and visitors, CPAC has implemented several new policies in accordance with guidance from local, state, and federal health authorities.
For Your Safety and Ours:
> All visitors, employees, interns, and volunteers will be required to wear face coverings
> Restrooms will be closed to the public
> Visitors will be asked to keep at least six feet apart from other people in the gallery at all times
> The number of visitors will be limited based on city and state guidance
Cleaning and sanitization:
> Hand sanitizer will be available at the door
> All high-touch surfaces will be cleaned multiple times throughout the day
> All workplaces will be cleaned daily
> Gallery will be sanitized monthly by a professional cleaning service
New policies for staff, interns, and volunteers:
> Social distancing will be required at all times; workspaces will be set up with more than 6 feet between all employees
> Frequent handwashing will be required
> Staff who are sick will be required to stay home for a minimum of 10 days until symptom free
> Staff who have symptoms or live with someone with symptoms must stay home and self-quarantine
> Staff will complete daily symptom checks before coming to work
> Interns and volunteers will complete a health screening before entering the gallery
CPAC Programs and Services:
> Exhibitions: The gallery will be open during regular business hours.
> Classes and Workshops: Some classes will continue to be held online. Onsite, in-person classes will have limited participants based on city and state guidelines. Participants will be asked to fill out a brief health assessment form. Chairs will be spaced six feet apart.
> Artist Resources: CPAC’s onsite darkroom and digital lab will be open during regular business hours. Each space will be limited to one person at a time, and users will be asked to fill out a brief health assessment form.
> Events: Some events will continue to be held online or have an online component. When in-person events do take place, the number of visitors will be limited in accordance with city and state guidance.
While we are taking extra precautions to maintain a clean environment, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting the gallery you acknowledge that you’ve read our guidelines and you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
