This all-day workshop will start with an overview of street photography, a show of work by master photographers plus the instructor’s own work. Then we will address the importance of narrative in documentary photographs, techniques for finding stories, how to photograph people and overcome fear of photographing strangers in public, and then how to edit your work tightly to make the best possible narrative for your viewers. This will be followed up with a two-hour shoot in downtown Denver, and then the group will return to the classroom for lunch (available for purchase downtown) and to input photographs and show their top 10 images on a projection screen for review and critique.
