Time | Monday – Thursday 9am – 2pm (with 1/2 hour lunch) & Friday 9am – 12pm

Skill level | Teen has taken an entry level photography class
Goal: To introduce teens to fine art silver gelatin printing techniques
Objectives: At the end of this workshop, participants will:
1. Understand and explain concepts such as tonal range, mood, and composition;
2. Understand and use intermediate-level darkroom techniques such as contrast filtering, dodging/burning, split-bath development, and toning
Required supplies for this program:
Materials (student provides):
- Examples of prints from previous classwork
- Negatives from previous classes
- A work apron, optional
- One-way local bus fare (Friday only)
- Lunch (Monday through Thursday)
Materials (CPAC provides):
- Photographic paper, RC & fiber
- Film and paper chemistry (includes toners)
- Handouts
- Nitrile exam gloves
- Access to CPAC institutional collection for study
