Skill level | Beginning to Intermediate
This class is for the beginning photographer with no darkroom experience. We will learn the basics of shooting, film processing and darkroom printing. We will go over basic camera functions and how to use camera settings to get the look you want in your photographs. Our time in the darkroom will begin with photograms and pinhole photography to understand the basics of darkroom printing. Students will then learn how to process film and print photographs from negatives with plenty of time to practice our darkroom technique.
Required supplies for this program:
- Paper Notebook and pen or pencil
- a SLR film camera
Materials Provided with fee:
- 25 sheets of 8×10 paper
- 3 rolls of B&W film
- Chemicals to process film & paper
