Photography has expanded immensely since the introduction of the camera phone and the rise in selfie culture. With photography being more accessible and more people embracing the art of the photograph, how can you set yourself apart? This class is an introductory class into using creative thinking and alternative methods to create portraiture. Students will explore different methods and be given different challenges in creating an unconventional portrait. Each class will introduce a new technique or tool to help assist in the making process, while utilizing natural light.

- Composition
- Depth of field with intention
- Light happenings and creating shadows
- Shooting through different objects
- Intro to Photoshop
- Double exposure
- alternative props
Required supplies for this program:
- Paper Notebook and pen or pencil
- a Digital Camera (DSLR preferred) with a Memory Card
