Using cell phone cameras is an easy, fun, and creative introduction to photography. In this workshop we will use our phones on daily photo walks and spend time exploring creative apps to develop and enhance our photography. Discussed are basic rules of composition, camera controls, and telling stories with images. On the last day of the workshop students will have a chance to print their favorite image of the week. Any smart phone that can run the apps listed below, will work for this workshop.

- Basic camera handling skills
- Techniques for creating visual interest and mood in your photograph
- Introduction to photo editing software and using Layers
- Compositing and blending images

Required supplies for this program:
- Paper notebook and pen or pencil
