Explore and photograph the areas surrounding the Colorado Photographic Arts Center in Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District. Students will use a digital camera to capture the area’s buildings, neighborhoods and people. After each walking “urban safari”, students will work on editing and sequencing photographs to tell a story visually. We’ll be traveling on foot together and focusing on a variety of elements including framing, color, texture and whatever else we discover. We’ll also look at some photographic stories told by other photographers. Students may bring their own camera or check one out for use from the CPAC.
